Established in 1975, Champlain Leather has now enjoyed well over 3 decades of serving the public from near and far. Our history began with craft shows and opening a small retail store which remains in downtown Burlington. Our products appealed to other leather shop owners so a separate workshop produced jackets, vests, bags and a variety of small accessories. After 20 years this was scaled down and the focus now is on high quality retail service for discerning customers. As the year 2009 approaches, this unique and beautiful corner of America is preparing to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the explorer Samuel de Champlain's voyage along the Maine coast, down the St. Lawrence river and into the lake named for him.
