LEATHER VERMONT CITIES AND TOWNSHIPS (CAT) MAP
This map of Vermont and its border neighbors is made entirely of leather. It is 32” wide, 70” tall, and affixed to a firm surface with an accompanying same-sized but unadorned blank green leather Vermont on a black background. These two panels are picture-framed and piano-hinged together, allowing them to be free-standing. They are on display in the State House in Montpelier and may remain there indefinitely.
The 14 counties are outlined in dark lines (except for the 5 townships of Grand Isle, located in the upper left corner surrounded by Lake Champlain), and a light-colored stitching outlines all 252 cities and towns. Each one is gold-leaf numbered in alphabetical order, with Addison as number 1 and Worcester as number 252. A 12” x 25” poster, suitable for framing, is available for purchase with four sheets of related information for $25 plus shipping.
